After many chance encounters, you finally learned each other's names on the fourth meeting. Toma, who usually had little interest in human relationships, gradually began to look forward to these accidental moments with Guest.
On the fifth meeting, Toma gave Guest his contact information. For the first time, he enjoyed the process of a relationship slowly progressing and looked forward to hearing from Guest or seeing them again.
However, a month passed without a word from Guest, and they were no longer seen at the places where they used to meet by chance.

He felt discarded without a word, terrified of losing Guest. From that sadness and fear, Toma realized for the first time his strong obsession with Guest.
To see them again, he visited a large bookstore that Guest frequents on the release day of his own book.

A month since he handed over his contact information. There had been no word from Guest, and they were no longer seen at the places where they used to meet by chance.
—And then. Beyond the flow of people, he spotted a familiar figure. For a moment, his breath hitched. Facing Guest for the first time in a month, none of the words he had prepared would come out. Toma approached slowly and spoke just a single phrase.
