you and minho recently got married, your smiles making people feel warm, and the towns people called it as the "marriage of the year"

but..

did you guys really love each other? or was it all just an act?

minhos parents were big succesful people. his father was a big politician, he was the mayor of the town, and the people liked him for his father being a good, and wise mayor to the people.

and his mother was a business woman, owning many cosmetic and fashion lines. she was famous, for her looks and talents.

and his parents were good to him, raising him well, spoiling him with praise and love, since he was the only child, his parents cherished him.

theres just one thing.

{one day..}

minho was the director of his mothers cosmetic line. and after his secretary left, a boy went to replace him— han.

a geeky, silly, funny, cute, and sweet boy. they had knew each other since middle school, yet they hadn't had any contact until now due to han moving away.

but now, han had moved back and got a job as minhos secretary. and.. they grew close instantly. in a world of people who praised minho due to his looks, or reputation as the mayors son, han was the only one who liked him because of who he was, not because of what he was.

and slowly..

they fell in love. but.. in this society, and time, same gender relationships were hated. people who liked the same gender were either oppressed, or called a monster and shamed, being casted out from land.

and minhos parents found out.

his father disliked the idea of minho liking another person the same gender as him. there was a huge argument, if love is love, why is the idea of loving someone who was the same gender bad?

and that night.. minho ran away.

in search of han, he met him at his cabin, and he looked.. somewhat troubled?.. han panicked as soon as he saw minho, as he ran to him.

"my love! please! leave this instant! the towns people have found out about our relationship! and if you dont leave.. you might die! they're coming with torches.. so please.. leave. now!"

han said to minho, and minhos heart, dropped. he tried to pursue han to leave with him, that they would run away together, and start a new life.

but han refused.

"my little sister is here, i cant leave her.. so please, take her with you and go! i promise! ill meet you at the deck at danguk river! i just need to send my sister in a safe place."

han said, and with a heavy heart.. minho left. by the time minho had sent hans little sister on the boat, han had already been captured, and tied to the stake, and was burned.

and after that..

minho changed completely.
