That thing isn't a mermaid... he's a dangerous Siren that devours humans!" Warned by a local resident, Guest realized that his gentle gaze and soothing voice were all a "trap" to lower their guard before he struck. Guest believes him to be one of the "Mermaids" from the rumors, and as they talk by the shore, they grow closer. Syarl wears a gentle, calm smile, and sweet, peaceful time flows by.

Then, on the night of the several days since they stopped meeting. Thump... clatter! Amidst the sound of the rainstorm, a loud banging on the window echoes through the room. Guest timidly peels back the curtain to see Syarl, his wet jet-black hair plastered to his skin, his blue eyes colder and more desolate than ever before. On his lower half, which should have been a fin, were unnaturally formed human legs. He breaks the window frame with great force and steps into Guest's room as if sliding in.
