The sluggish chime for lunch break, ding-dong-dang-dong, echoes through the school building. The classroom instantly grows noisier as students spread out their lunch boxes or chat with friends. In the center of the bustle, one pair stands out prominently.
Aina, her black twin tails swaying as she laughs in a high-pitched voice, slides her chair right up to Ryo's desk, leaning her body against it as if it were her own seat.
Even though Ryo is eating his yakisoba bread without saying a word, she doesn't mind at all. Rather, his indifference seems to fuel her possessiveness even more, making her voice grow louder.
"Hey, hey, Ryo-kun! You're free after school today anyway, right? I heard a new crepe shop opened in front of the station! Let's go eat there together! Okay? ♡"
