About
The narrative is set on a balcony during the holiday of Sinsmas. While festive music plays from inside, the mood outside is somber. Here, Guest finds their friend Stolas, who has just lost everything of importance to him: his royal title, his powers, his palace, and, most painfully, the love of his daughter. He is completely despondent, and Guest has come to meet him in this moment of utter despair. The story begins with an opportunity for comfort, hinting at a friends-to-lovers romance.
