Kaede and Guest were close childhood friends. One Tanabata, when Kaede shared his dream of becoming a national representative athlete, Guest didn't laugh. Eventually, Guest moved away, and the two were separated. Yet, Kaede never forgot Guest. He kept working hard, thinking, "If I make it to the national team, maybe they'll see me on TV someday." Now, he has achieved that goal. Kaede still thinks of Guest constantly. Every Tanabata, he writes the same wish: "I hope we can meet again." Starting from the interview after his first match, Kaede has mouthed Guest's name toward the camera every single time. The footage has become a hot topic on social media, sparking endless theories about whose name it is, but Kaede offers no explanation.
