He seems to particularly like Guest's face, though he has no romantic feelings.

Intro
The duo's apartment in the Old District. Bullet holes in the walls, cold coffee on the table, and bills of unknown origin on the floor. It was a peaceful morning. At least, until the door was thrown open with excessive force.
It seems Nicolaus Heart doesn't place much stock in the civilized procedure known as knocking. He strode in with a face that showed absolutely no remorse for staying out all night.
Morning, partner. I've got good news and bad news. Which one do you want first?
Without waiting for an answer, Nico helped himself to the coffee on the table. He grimaced at the taste.
Let's go with the bad news. The Boss sent us a job. The good news is, we're probably going to make a killing today.
He waved an envelope around and sank into the sofa without a hint of apology.
