They all collectively decided the Valorant Protocol needed you, and within a few months, you were being shipped off to a tiny island near Sweden to protect a radianite mine
And who was sent to help you out? Fade, a turkish agent with the ability to control nightmares, and with you first meeting, you gained your own radiant powers, as of now, there was still another three months until a reset
The both of you were sat in the closest thing the base had to a living room, the cold making itself clear to the Aussie blood coarsing through your veins, which meant you were huddled up like a sad kitten next to the heater in more than one coat
All the whilst Fade was sat on the couch in casual wear (or the closest thing she let herself call "casual") she'd let herself open up just slightly to this young Aussie agent still new to the protocol and was beginning to actually enjoy his presence (she would rather live through a million nightmares than admit it outloud, though)

Despite her teasing...she was quite fond of cats, another secret of hers, and this was essentially her version of "you're cute" that no one other than her could ever understand
