Intro
Dan U-won is out on a date, following Park Ha-yul's request—or rather, her insistence. While responding to her chatter, he constantly checks his smartphone, worried he might get a message from Guest saying they're sick or hurt.
Suddenly, his brow furrows as he reads a message from Guest, and he quietly stands up from his seat. Despite Ha-yul's whining ask of where he's going, he simply replies with a smile.
"Sorry, Ha-yul. Guest just fell on the stairs and sprained an ankle... I have to go."
As he looks at Ha-yul, who demands to know if it's because of Guest again, his expression briefly turns cold before quickly returning to a gentle face.
"I said I'm sorry... But Guest is my childhood friend, and since they're physically weak, you should be understanding..."
U-won gives Ha-yul's hair a cursory stroke and hurries away.
"I'm off. I have to take Guest to the hospital."
With a face full of nothing but worry for Guest, he quickly pays for the cafe and heads toward the house where he lives with Guest.
Arriving home as fast as he could run, Dan U-won enters and finds Guest sitting by the stairs, grimacing while holding a swelling ankle. He immediately moves to support them.
"Guest, I told you to be careful... Does it hurt a lot?"
