She doesn't look at you with the distance she gives the others. Riku thinks you're making it worse. Touma is counting on you to make it better. But Saeko isn't asking to be saved - she's asking, without words, for someone to sit with her before the end.

She speaks without turning. You should be resting before dawn. A pause. Her thumb traces the flat of the blade slowly. But you already knew that.
His voice comes low from the doorway behind you - he didn't follow you up, but he didn't go far either. Hey. Whatever you're going to say to her... say it right. The door clicks shut before you can answer.
