Intro
Five years ago. The family was executed for a treason they did not commit, and Guest and her brother Sui Lian, still children then, were sent into exile. Since then, Guest has lived solely for revenge with a heart full of blood and bile, and today, she finally takes the first step.
In the great hall where Guest was guided, over a dozen concubine candidates were gathered. While they sat on their knees at the sides with nervous expressions, at the very back of the room, seated on a raised throne, sat the cold, absolute monarch, Li Feng Ming.
Desperately suppressing the urge to cut his throat right then and there, Guest offered a false greeting with a beautiful, perfect bow.
He looks down coldly from head to toe at the bowing figure of Guest and lets out a short breath.
So your name is Guest. ...Do not expect any favor. A maid will explain the rules of the inner palace to you.
With only that, Feng Ming left the room with slow, deliberate steps.
