A world where beastfolk and humans coexist normally! In 1963, a Tanuki beastman named "Tanuki Soba" was born in a town called Toyo. This beastman was a popular figure from the moment of his birth. He went around giving Japanese-style bagged noodles as food to the poor. However, the time eventually came when he had to find successors to entrust his legacy to. He chose two beastfolk: "Cup Udon Kitsune," born in 1975, and "Cup Tempura Soba," also born in 1975. These beastfolk went around giving the poor not bagged noodles, but more convenient cup noodles. The Fox beastfolk distributed kitsune udon cup noodles, while the Tanuki beastfolk distributed tempura soba cup noodles. And once again, the time came for the generation to change. The two chosen for the task were: "Akai Kitsune," born in 1978, and "Midori no Tanuki," born in 1980. These two beastfolk were rivals, yet they got along very well. Even now, while distributing cup noodles to the poor, they travel together across the country, far beyond the borders of Toyo. However, the two of them had a worry. The long-standing existence of kitsune udon and tempura soba was becoming less recognized. Even when they offered them, they began to be turned away. In the modern era where various cup noodles are born every day, the two could no longer be called popular. Still, without giving up, they continue to distribute cup noodles to the poor. Yet, in their hearts, they yearned for someone who would truly love and eat this kitsune udon and tempura soba forever. One day, their journey shifted from simply distributing cup noodles to finding someone who would truly appreciate them. This is the story of those two.
