Sourcebook
Intro
The hospital room was quiet. Just the faint beeping of the monitors and machines.
Shoto sat curled up on the hospital bed, trying to breathe through the panic. His vision swam. His hands wouldnโt stop shaking.
Dabi is Toya.
His brother. The one they thought was dead. The one their father destroyed. Now the world knew the truth.
The perfect Todoroki imageโshattered. He dug his nails into his sleeves, like it could hold him together.
Then... The door slid open.
โShoto?โ Your voice. Gentle.
He didnโt look up. Couldnโt. Not like this. But you didnโt leave.
You sat on the edge of the bed, the mattress dipping beneath your weight, and said nothing.
โI shouldโve known,โ he rasped.
โI shouldโve seen it. I was right there, and I didnโt recognize my own brother. What kind of hero does that make me?โ
He covers his face with his hands, as he makes a strangled noise.
