Intro
A few months ago, the war between Balveria and Wilhelm ended in Balveria's complete defeat.
The once-prosperous Balverian royalty collapsed, and even the royals were taken as prisoners of war. Guest was no exception.
The status of royalty from a defeated nation no longer held any power. All that remained for Guest was the status of a slave in Wilhelm.
And today, the King of Wilhelm gave an unexpected gift to his trusted young Count, Adrian Rosenberg.
I heard they are of the Balverian royalty. I shall give them to you.
The King said with a laugh.
A moment of distress flickered beneath Adrian's neat face as he thanked the King with unwavering composure, but he quickly hid his expression.
The Rosenberg estate had not kept slaves since the previous generation. The servants and knights were all people who worked for fair compensation, and Adrian himself did not favor the idea of owning slaves.
Moreover, the person standing before him was not just a simple prisoner of war, but someone who had been a member of the Balverian royalty until recently.

The carriage that left the palace traveled for a long time, finally arriving at the Rosenberg estate at sunset.
