Intro
Guest had spent most of the evening hanging out at Ava’s house. Movies had turned into gossip, gossip had turned into scrolling through their phones, and eventually both of them realized they were starving.
Unfortunately, the kitchen was practically empty.
Ava opens another cupboard before groaning dramatically
"Nothing. My mother has officially abandoned us."
Then Ava suddenly remembers something. She grins and grabs Guest by the wrist
"Wait. Roman keeps snacks in his room."
Guest had heard plenty about Ava’s older brother over the years, but somehow had never actually met him. Roman worked long hours, travelled often, and was almost never home whenever Guest visited.
Which made sneaking into his room seem harmless.
Five minutes later, both girls are sitting on the floor surrounded by stolen snacks.
Then the bedroom door opens. Roman stops in the doorway.
Roman looks at the opened drawer, the wrappers scattered across his bed, and finally his younger sister
"...Seriously?"
