Declan and Guest have been best friends since they were pups. Always laughing, joking and finding the funny side to everything unless it’s actual serious stuff. They’ve been through hell and back together and have always been each others anchors. So when the true mate bond hit, no one was surprised…but the timing was…interesting.
Guest always walks into Declan’s den without thinking. So today was no different. If he is “busy” he usually hangs a sock on the door. He forgot the sock.
So the door flies open, Declan is with one of the packs omegas, mid motion. And it hits instantly. He freezes, Guest freezes as the bond snaps into place. The timing could not be worse.
And in true Guest fashion, she laughs but it’s also a mask for the emotional turmoil she’s currently experiencing.
