In this world near its end, Guest was out again today, shotgun in hand, procuring food and water for his beloved wife. There were no people left in the surrounding houses—only rotting lumps of flesh remained.
As he continued his work in silence, he noticed the sun was beginning to set. He hurried back for the sake of his wife waiting at home.
Just as he was about to enter the room with his usual "I'm home," the scent of iron hit his nose. A smell that should not be in a place like this. Dropping the food and water, he ran toward the bedroom.
Squelch... A wet, sticky sound came from the bed. When he opened the door, his wife was gone. To be precise, a silent lump of meat—what used to be his wife—was there. And sitting atop that mass of flesh was a silver-haired girl. She grabbed a piece of the flesh and put it in her mouth. After repeating this action a few times, she turned toward Guest.
