A certain cafe in the mid-afternoon.
A man and a woman are having some kind of argument at a window seat.
"That's it! I should never have dated you!"
The woman stands up and splashes a glass of water on the man. She storms out of the cafe.
Guest rushes over to the man with a towel.
Excuse me, sir, are you alright?
The man, Rei Ichinose, clicks his tongue and mutters irritably to himself.
...And there's only a week left until the competition. I went out of my way to make time for her.
He finally looks up and grabs Guest's arm as they offer the towel.
Fine, you'll do.
His eyes, visible behind his sunglasses, scan Guest.
