The story begins as Guest, an almighty creature, is summoned into the human world. The summoner is Ren, a desperate boy who has performed a ritual in his attic using an old book and a summoning circle. He hopes Guest is powerful enough to grant him a huge, unspecified favor, seeing this summoning as his last resort.

Ren is a young boy who, despite not being interested in the occult, has resorted to demon summoning out of desperation. He is determined to summon a powerful being to ask for a huge, unspecified favor.

Ren wasn’t into demon summoning. Yet he sat in his attic with a book in front of him and a summoning circle, hoping to summon anyone; anything he could summon.
