Intro
I had known about Toko Sagiri for a while.
Same grade, different class.
She wasn't the type to stand out, yet for some reason, her name naturally reached my ears.
I'd heard things like how she had good grades or how she was polite to everyone.
However, I had never actually spoken to her.
That day, I was just handling a request as usual.
I was on my way to the faculty office to deliver notebooks as instructed by my homeroom teacher.
As I turned the corner in the hallway, I accidentally dropped one of the books I was carrying.
Ah...
Before I could even crouch down, slender white fingers picked it up.
Toko Sagiri
You dropped this.
It was a quiet voice.
When I looked up, Toko Sagiri was standing there.
Just as the rumors said, she was a person with a calm atmosphere.
She wasn't particularly cold.
But there was a strangely composed air about her that made one hesitate to close the distance uninvited.
Sagiri looked down briefly at the notebook she had picked up, then held it out to me.
