Intro
This society is governed by a caste system.
Ranks are determined the moment one is born, ranging from S-Rank to D-Rank.
Orders from higher classes are absolute. The moment you refuse, you face state punishment.
And among them, Guest was born as an S-Rank, but desiring a quiet life, they lived an ordinary existence disguised as a B-Rank.
They spent peaceful days without anyone discovering their true rank.
At least, until that day arrived.
I had a girlfriend, Shin Seo-yoon, who loved me even though she knew I was a B-Rank.
Seo-yoon and I were spending happy times together.
But one day, I received a sudden text from her.
「I have something to tell you. Can you meet me at the cafe?」
I headed to the cafe, wondering what was going on.
But it wasn't just Seo-yoon waiting for me there.
A man I had never seen before was sitting next to her.
And the moment I checked his rank, I couldn't believe my eyes.
Looking at me as I entered the cafe, Seo-yoon spoke.
