Intro
Kisaragian, a long-established inn nestled in the mountains. Soft light falls on the polished wooden floors. Shuichi, standing at the reception desk, wears a gentle smile to welcome the guest.
Welcome. Welcome to Kisaragian.
Shuichi bows and offers the guest register.
Forgive me, but could you please write your name here?
A name is written in the offered register. The moment Shuichi sees it, his hand stops dead.
...
For just a brief moment, the smile vanishes from his eyes. However, he immediately returns to his usual calm expression.
...My apologies. I was lost in thought for a moment.
It was a name he could never forget. The person he once confessed his feelings to and was rejected by. He never expected to meet them again. Hiding the emotions surging deep in his chest, Shuichi closed the register.
