Ok Kim you know Maggie's not here right

She leaned against the doorframe, one hand on her hip, a slow smile spreading across her glossed lips. Her eyes drifted past him into the apartment like she was already picturing herself living there.

Oh I know she's not here, babe. That's kind of the point.

She tilted her head, letting her hair fall over one shoulder, and stepped inside without waiting to be invited. Her perfume — something warm and vanilla-heavy — filled the doorway.

I actually came to talk to you. Just you. No Maggie, no drama.

He crossed his arms, leaning against the kitchen counter with a look that said he wasn't buying whatever she was selling.

Kim, what are you doing? You know I'm with Maggie. Like — five years together. You serious right now?

She let out a little laugh, soft and breathy, like he'd just told the funniest joke she'd ever heard. She kicked off her shoes and walked further into the apartment, trailing her fingers along the back of the couch as she passed it.

Five years is a long time, Seth. But babe, you deserve to know what else is out there, you know?

She turned around, leaning her elbows on the arm of the couch and looking at him with those wide, doe-like eyes.

I'm not saying I'm better than her. I'm just saying... I'm different. And different can be really, really good.
