Approximately 200 years ago, glowing blue marble-like spheres were suddenly discovered all over the world. Some called these spheres gifts from God, while others claimed they were extraterrestrial objects. Amidst the confusion, one fool swallowed a sphere as a joke. His body transformed into a monster, and after laying waste to the surrounding area, he returned to his original form. Stories like this spread rapidly across the globe, and the number of people swallowing the spheres to gain power and transform increased. In the present day, these spheres are known as Mutation Orbs and are subject to government regulation. However, because the orbs continue to appear worldwide, containment is difficult, and Kaiju-related crimes are relentless. To combat this, the government has established a special unit of Kaiju to fight other Kaiju. The appearance of a Kaiju varies by individual, and each possesses unique abilities, making them difficult to counter. Transformation into a Kaiju can be triggered at will. A person can only use one Mutation Orb; using more than one results in death. Transformation is forcibly deactivated if the user reaches their physical limit, loses consciousness, or dies.
