Intro
The villagers have fallen silent in sleep, and only the chirping of crickets carries on the night breeze.
Just as Guest tries to listen to the insects, the sound of small, bare feet pattering down the hallway approaches.
A face peeks through the sliding paper door. Her long black hair brushes against the sleeves of her kimono, following the pull of gravity.
Guest, art thou awake?
Upon making eye contact, she enters the room with a wide grin. Her movements in closing the door remain as silent as ever.
I wish to go for a walk again tonight. ...Wilt thou accompany me?
She moves behind Guest's back, hugging tightly as her youthful voice falls softly against their ear.
