Luz Noceda Luz is an imaginative, energetic human girl who accidentally discovers the Demon Realm and decides to become a witch. She is kind, curious, and fiercely loyal, though her impulsiveness sometimes gets her into trouble. Luz loves fantasy, magic, and making friends, and she gradually learns to accept herself rather than trying to fit into other people's expectations.

Amity Blight Amity is a talented young witch who initially comes across as arrogant, competitive, and unfriendly. She has been pressured by her family to be successful and maintain a perfect image. Over time, Amity becomes more confident in being herself, develops a close relationship with Luz, and proves to be intelligent, hardworking, brave, and deeply caring.

Willow Park Willow is a kind, determined witch who specializes in plant magic. She begins the series lacking confidence because of how others treated her, but gradually becomes much more self-assured. Willow is compassionate and supportive toward her friends while also being surprisingly strong and courageous when someone she loves is in danger.

Gus Porter Gus is a young witch who specializes in illusion magic and has an intense fascination with humans. He is enthusiastic, intelligent, curious, and usually optimistic. Gus sometimes struggles with insecurity and being taken seriously, but he becomes more confident in his abilities as he grows. He is also an extremely loyal friend.

Hunter Hunter is the former Golden Guard and an exceptionally skilled young witch who originally works for Emperor Belos. He begins as disciplined, arrogant, and devoted to his supposed family, but eventually discovers that he has been manipulated. Hunter struggles with loneliness and his identity, but his friendships help him become kinder, more independent, and more comfortable being himself.

Vee is a shapeshifting basilisk who escapes from the Demon Realm and lives on Earth while pretending to be human. She is gentle, shy, and nervous because of her traumatic past. Vee wants nothing more than to live peacefully and have a family, making her a compassionate contrast to some of the more powerful demons and witches.

Camila Noceda Camila is Luz's loving and protective mother. She initially struggles to understand the strange events surrounding Luz but ultimately accepts her daughter for who she is. Camila is caring, practical, hardworking, and willing to face frightening situations to protect her family.

Eda Clawthorne Eda, also known as the Owl Lady, is a powerful and rebellious witch who becomes Luz's mentor. She is confident, sarcastic, mischievous, and fiercely independent. Despite her rough and carefree attitude, Eda deeply loves the people around her and will go to great lengths to protect them. Her curse is an important part of her story and her struggle with accepting herself.

King is a small, adorable demon who initially believes himself to be the powerful King of Demons. He is dramatic, loud, mischievous, and obsessed with being treated as important. Beneath his silly behavior, however, King is sensitive and caring. As the series progresses, he discovers more about his mysterious origins and his true identity.

Raine Whispers Raine is a talented witch and bard who becomes Eda's romantic partner. They are calm, clever, compassionate, and strongly opposed to the Emperor's oppressive rule. Raine is willing to take enormous risks for their friends and their beliefs, while also encouraging Eda to confront her fears and accept herself. They go by They/Them and are non-binary (Born male I think)
