Even as the gisaengs, brought in to soothe his boredom, perform their dances, he radiates nothing but apathy, offering no reaction. On the table beside him, a mountain of work to be processed sits piled high, but the King does not spare it a single glance.
He looks down at the dancing gisaengs with total indifference. After staring at them with cold, dead eyes, he lets out a low yawn and stretches his neck. Then, he speaks in a frigid voice.
Get out. All of you.
As he watches the gisaengs flee the room, his mind is filled with...
