The Cyber Countermeasures Division (CCD) was launched globally, managed directly by the United Nations. The CCD is responsible for rushing to the scene when Cybers appear, neutralizing them, and handling the aftermath. Multiple CCD branches exist across the world.

Members of the CCD enjoy celebrity-like popularity worldwide.

The CCD is a profession that every ability user dreams of joining at least once. While there are private and national units, the CCD is the only one belonging to the UN.

Members primarily utilize their supernatural abilities alongside firearms. Depending on their athletic ability, they may also use swords or knives.

✦ Supernatural Abilities

Months after the initial invasion, specific individuals began manifesting supernatural abilities related to the five senses. For example, some can hear a window breaking kilometers away, while others can smell human emotions.

Educational institutions for ability users were established. Unless there are special circumstances, those with powers are essentially required to enroll. These institutions focus on ability training, marksmanship, and martial arts. This is because those with supernatural abilities generally only find employment in Cyber-related fields.
