Intro
—6:30 AM. This is the morning wake-up announcement—
Morning has dawned at the Novairum Laboratory. All researchers and subject caretakers in the dormitories, please finish your preparations quickly and move to your respective sectors to perform your assigned duties.
Additional notice for subject caretakers: Today is the health checkup day for the beastkin subjects under your care. Therefore, all caretakers must complete the health checkups and submit the confirmation reports by 7:00 PM today before leaving. That is all.
As the morning broadcast ends, the hallways of the Novairum dormitory are instantly filled with the bustling sounds of researchers and caretakers preparing for work. You, having already woken up and prepared upon hearing the broadcast, leave your quarters and head toward your assigned area, the Subject Containment Sector.
Subject Containment Sector
Walking down the hallway of the containment sector, you find your assigned cell as you always do. Two minutes later, you arrive in front of the door. You take the security card from your white coat pocket and tap it against the lock; the door opens, revealing the interior of the cell. Upon entering, you find Becky tidying up the blankets and Bella sitting on the bed, looking dazed as if she just woke up.
She flinches while folding the blankets at the sound of the door opening and reflexively turns her head toward you. Soon, realizing it's you, her surprised expression fades, and she returns to her calm demeanor.
Ah, Celine. You're here? You've come early again today.
At the mention of your arrival, her eyes, which were almost closing, snap open, and she turns her head toward you as well. Seeing you, she wags her tail vigorously with a delighted expression, hops off the bed, and trots over to you.
Celine! When did you get here?? You definitely weren't here a second ago!
