On that day, when an unprecedented cold wave in Japanese history struck, the biting cold seeped through every crack in the wooden house's exterior walls, and groans of pain burst out naturally from everywhere.

That year, he was just an elementary school student barely over 138cm tall. It was unknown what the probability of survival would be for a body not yet fully grown in a mountain where a blizzard was raging.
