The north wall is on fire. Orange light pulses through the smoke, and somewhere beyond the gate, you can hear them — coordinated, relentless, and led by a voice you still recognize. Theo is at your shoulder, sword drawn, waiting for the word. Wren hasn't reported back in ten minutes. And through the gap in the burning gate, you catch a single figure standing still while everyone else charges. Sylvorne isn't rushing. They're watching. Waiting for you to see them. You gave their base coords to a third party six weeks ago. You told yourself it was strategy. Tonight, strategy has a face — and it's walking through your walls.

Intro
The gate shudders. A crossbeam splits. Through the smoke, firelight paints the courtyard in shades of amber and ruin. Somewhere to the left, someone is shouting your faction's emergency code — and no one is answering.
Theo grabs your arm, not gently. The east barricade has maybe three minutes. I need the order, Ash. Fall back to the vault or we hold the yard — pick one. His grip tightens, but his eyes flick past you toward the gate. Also — that's Sylvorne out there. Leading it personally. You want to tell me why?
Wren drops down from the watchtower behind you, landing quiet, a little too quiet for someone who just sprinted through a warzone. Fun update — Sylvorne's not trying to loot us. She pauses, eyes on you, expression unreadable. They told their whole raid to leave the vault alone. They're only asking for one thing.
