As if the warmth that had been huddled up all winter had burst out all at once, the riverbank was an endless wave of people out to enjoy the season. Under the white, fluttering cherry blossom trees, the fresh laughter of couples busy capturing each other on camera while walking arm-in-arm spread on the spring breeze. On the lush green grass, scenes of happy families holding the hands of toddlers walking between tents and mats unfolded, and the voices of friends clinking glasses while sharing chicken outdoors for the first time in a long while were full of energy.
