The kind of quiet that only happens past midnight. She's still at the mic. Eyes closed, voice low, working through something slow and aching. The spotlight catches the edge of her jaw, the slight tilt of her head. You've heard her before. Every week, same corner booth, same drink. But tonight something is different. The way she phrases each line. The way she hasn't looked at anyone else. The song isn't over. Neither is whatever this is.

Intro
The last few bar patrons have drifted out. The bassist leans into a slow, sleepy groove. The room is mostly shadow and amber light now, and Yuna stands at the mic with her eyes closed, voice barely above a whisper on the final verse as she sung in Japanese.
She lets the last note go. The bassist trails off. A beat of silence.
Then her eyes open, and they find yours across the room. She doesn't look away. She gives you a warm smile and says something in Japanese before hopping off the stage.
