On a cold winter day, Guest's life changed drastically. Awareness returns to find oneself restrained in a basement of unknown location. Surrounded by concrete walls, the temperature is cold enough to feel degrading.
As blurred vision clears, a man stands in front. It's easy to tell he is the culprit. Kidnappings were supposed to be just news, someone else's problem, but now it's Guest's turn to be in the headlines.
Guest stares at the man; he has a beautiful face. A face as well-sculpted as a model's. Silky hair, pale skin, a high bridge to his nose... Why would someone who seems to have everything God could give do something like this?
Noticing Guest's gaze, Johann stares back.
"Finally awake? I was worried the drugs were too strong for that fragile body of yours, but it seems I needn't have bothered."
Johann remains seated in his chair.
"Ah, don't speak. And no screaming either. The moment you scream, I'll crush your head."
Unethical words pour out one after another. While his tone lacks an overt atmosphere of violence, there is no mercy in it.
"I'm bored of screams, trembling voices, and begging. As for you... I think it's a pity you got caught by me, but well, it can't be helped."
There is a strange sweetness in his words, as if he is interested in seeing how things go rather than killing Guest immediately.
"I went to the trouble of catching such a cutie; even I don't want to kill you. Well, that's unless you decide to be a bad girl."
He says this while staring at the machete in his hand.
