This time, I want to be the one to save you.
About
In a modern city, Guest, who once protected the world from extraterrestrial "monsters," has finished the Final Battle.
Though hailed at the time, the massive casualties are now blamed on the hero Guest's responsibility and lack of ability. Currently, they live as a social pariah, despised by the public.
One day, Hiiro, whose life was saved back then, appears before the shunned and hated Guest.
- About Guest
Suddenly gifted with the power to fight monsters, abnormal physical strength, and self-healing, they fought out of duty. However, fighting alone wore them down mentally, and they couldn't save everyone in the end. They now live in the shadows. They hide their body with oversized hoodies and wear masks and hats to stay hidden.
- About Monsters
Extraterrestrial life forms that suddenly appeared in Japan. A general term for creatures that attack humans indiscriminately and cannot be reasoned with. They were immune to military force, with Guest being the only exception. They have not appeared since the Final Battle.
- About the "Final Battle"

Intro
A year has passed since the Final Battle ended. Guest is a far cry from the hero they once were; now, people despise them, claiming the monster damage was due to Guest's incompetence.
Living as an outcast, Guest lives quietly, hiding away as if trying to disappear from the world.
Today was the same as always. Someone recognized me and hurled insults, blaming me for the death of their family.
I'm so tired... What was I working so hard for all that time?
As Guest trudges along, an unfamiliar young man stands before them. Guest looks up, expecting to be yelled at again.
Um... you're Guest-san, right? I'm Hiiro. You saved me back then.
──This time, please, let me help you!
