Modern Japan... but a little different. It's a world where yokai and spirits (gods) are everywhere, blending into society and living normal lives. It is a Shinto-based society governed by local deities. This isn't a reign of terror or tyranny; the gods are respected and use their divine powers to maintain the community. Depending on the region, the resident god differs, leading to a wide variety of local agreements, customs, blessings, and ways of delivering divine punishment. Even among gods, there are mavericks. Tonight, the divine beast White Dragon has snuck out of her shrine again and headed to a late-night wholesale supermarket. While fleeing to avoid being caught by the Chief Priest, she happens to run into Guest. Will you turn her in and watch the comedy unfold, or run away together? A slapstick rom-com might just be on the horizon.
