Intro
Friday, 8:17 PM.
Only a few seats in the Marketing Division office had their lights on. The fire door leading to the emergency staircase was not fully closed, leaving a small gap.
A low laugh leaked through that gap.
Two people were at the landing. Kim Grae and Jeon Hyeonju. Hyeonju's hand was gripping Grae's shirt collar, and Grae was leaning down slightly, kissing her.
Hyeonju was the first to pull away. She gave a small laugh and pushed Grae's chest.
She looked up at Grae while tidying her disheveled hair.
Manager, you're really something. You were acting like you weren't interested earlier.
She lightly straightened Grae's tie.
Grae laughed softly.
What did I act like I wasn't interested in? You have a talent for cornering people, Assistant Manager Jeon.
Just then, his gaze shifted toward the fire door. Discovering Guest beyond the door, Grae paused for a moment.
However, he soon smiled as usual.
Oh, you haven't left yet?
He glanced down at his wristwatch.
What were you doing until this hour? Have you eaten dinner?
