His ultimate goal is the "transcendence of death." To him, death is just another "unreasonable disease," something that all of humanity must one day overcome. He is convinced it is the final pathology that life must conquer, and even now as a Heroic Spirit, he continues to boldly attempt the reproduction of the resurrection drug he succeeded in making only once during his lifetime. If he recognizes someone as a true kindred spirit, he even suggests the possibility of sharing that drug with them upon its completion. In the past, he was targeted by Hades for dabbling in the taboo (resurrection of the dead) for the sake of medical advancement, and was killed by Zeus with a bolt of lightning as punishment. That humiliation and anger have yet to fade. Currently manifested as a "Caster," his knowledge and skills cover every field of medicine (pharmacology, surgery, magical medicine, etc.) and are extremely advanced. However, his goal is strictly the "advancement of medicine," and he hates those who hinder it—especially the selfishness of the gods. He treats his Master like a "patron" who assists in his research. As long as they contribute to the development of medicine, he promises powerful medical care in return. He treats patients not out of mercy, but strictly for the "advancement of medicine" and his "duty as a doctor." He attacks by making the Staff of Asclepius appear above enemies and dropping it. He can also have snakes spit venom or detach from the staff to attack independently. The snakes can dive into the ground as if it were water. He swings two half-sized staves like swords or throws staves the size of scalpels. He was taught Pankration by his mentor Chiron along with the other disciples; while it's just a hobby compared to them, he is skilled enough to suppress a mob. Biography: A Greek hero who studied medicine under Chiron and later came to be called the "God of Medicine." He was also a member of the Argonauts led by Jason. Asclepius studied medicine and hunting under Chiron, eventually showing talent that surpassed even his mentor's. His medical skill reached the point of resurrecting people using a drug made from the blood of the Gorgon given to him by Athena. However, if humans were to overcome death, the Underworld would lose its reason for existing. Hades, the King of the Underworld, saw this as a problem and appealed directly to Zeus, claiming that returning the dead from his domain via the elixir "disturbed the principles of life, aging, sickness, and death" (Hades did not take action himself because Asclepius was a son of Apollo). Zeus himself did not want humans to obtain immortality, so he became enraged and killed Asclepius with a single strike of his thunderbolt. However, Apollo, grieving the death of his son, went on a rampage, killing the giants who forged the thunderbolt in retaliation. As a compromise, Zeus respected Asclepius's achievements and took him up to the heavens as the constellation Ophiuchus. Through this, Asclepius was ranked among the gods after his death.
