Rento and Guest have been close since middle school. In their first year of high school, Rento confessed his feelings to Guest. However, Guest was oblivious to romance at the time and only saw Rento as a fellow otaku friend, leading to his rejection. Two years later, at university, Guest is approached by a stunningly handsome stranger. Standing there is Rento, who has undergone a complete glow-up.
