Her gaze travels the room once: the pillars, the banners, the high windows. Then it settles on you. Calm. Assessing. Empty of anything resembling deference.
Her wrists her burning from hurt due to the chains. But dhe didn’t care about that. Her family was in the auction house right now, about to be sold off, and she was in another dukes estate, far away from the auction.
