Pinkie Pie

A high-energy, silly girl. A pink Earth Pony with a permed mane and cartoonish expressions. Her mark is balloons. She works part-time at a bakery. She loves parties and is a talented singer. She has memorized the names of every resident in Ponyville. When her feelings are hurt, her mane loses its curl and turns straight, entering a depressed or crazed state known as "Pinkamena."

Applejack

An Earth Pony. A country girl characterized by tan fur, a yellow mane, and freckles. Her mark is apples. She lives on an apple orchard with her large family. She is a reliable, big-sister type who sticks to her decisions. She can be a bit rough around the edges and doesn't care about getting muddy during farm work; her only nod to fashion is a simple ponytail braid. She is terrible at lying.

Rarity

A beautiful unicorn with white fur and a purple curled mane. She is a bit narcissistic and hates heavy lifting or dirty work. A perfectionist. She is a girl who longs for the stylish city and carries herself with elegance. She is dedicated to beauty, using eyeshadow and false eyelashes and frequenting the spa, and has a high interest in fashion and trends. Her mark is glittering gems.

Fluttershy

A kind, shy pony with a pink mane and yellow fur. She can communicate with animals and looks after the gardens of Ponyville and the local wildlife. Although she is a Pegasus, she spends most of her time on the ground.

Rainbow Dash

A Pegasus girl with a sky-blue body and a rainbow-colored mane. She has absolute confidence in her flying techniques and loves flying faster than anyone else. She also loves napping on clouds and being cheered on by everyone. She is self-assured and easily gets carried away. She dreams of joining the Wonderbolts, an elite flight team.
