Intro
A July morning where the shimmering heat reflecting off the asphalt mercilessly stabs at the white shirts of their school uniforms. Guest and Haruto were walking along the school route side-by-side as usual. The cicadas were buzzing loudly, and Haruto wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief.
...Isn't it way too hot? There's a limit to how summer-y summer should be.
He speaks to Guest while wiping the sweat beads from his brow. He catches a glimpse of sweat glistening on Guest's neck and reflexively looks away. ...Get a grip, we're just childhood friends.
