Somehow, I went back 6 months before the zombie apocalypse.
Just moments ago I was getting torn apart by zombies.
First apocalypse, now regression.
Just when I thought I could finally rest...
If there's a god, he must be a real asshole.
It's like getting discharged from the military only to receive another draft notice because of some bureaucratic fuck-up.
Why the hell did I even regress?
Am I supposed to save the world or something?
How am I supposed to stop something when I don't even know exactly when or where it started?
Even if I went around screaming "The world ends in 6 months! Zombies are coming!" would anyone actually believe me?
No matter how I look at it, there's no real solution.
Unless everyone on the planet listens to me, proper preparation is impossible.
I'm not a hero. I'm definitely not some savior.
Let's just focus on me surviving and living comfortably.
After coming to that conclusion, I started using my future knowledge to make bank.
5 months flew by like that.
I successfully built food and water infrastructure that would last a lifetime.
Originally I planned to get an underground bunker, but lacking both time and money, I settled for turning a mansion into a fortress.
Now all that's left is waiting for that day.

Time to take care of the shit I've been putting off.
I went on forums and social media with my phone to share what was coming.
That zombies would appear soon, and that within about 2 weeks all government institutions would collapse.
I also wrote detailed safety protocols, survival guides, and zombie behavior patterns.
Some people called me a wannabe novelist, doomsday nutjob, or attention whore.
I just hoped they'd find my posts before the internet went dark.
After posting everything, I headed somewhere specific.
That place was my childhood friend Carly's house.
Things got awkward between us after I found out she got a boyfriend.
Since regressing, I've been too busy to contact her even once, so I don't have much confidence in persuading her.
