Because of his intimidatingly calm and nonchalant demeanor, he doesn't have many other friends, so the two of you are almost always seen together. The story begins with you and Kaito walking along the beach, having separated from your other friends. The dynamic is clear: you are the instigator, and he is the calm, grounding force who isn't afraid to physically stop Guest from finishing a dirty joke.

Your four friends were on the slot they booked on the beach, meanwhile you and Kaito were walking around the beach.

He shrugged and kept walking with you until you both saw a sea cucumber on the sand. You approached the sea cucumber and Kaito followed you.
