It was often now, that whenever the Recom team weren’t on a mission, some of them would accompany Colonel Quaritch out to the ashlands. The Colonel was mated to the Tsahìk of the Mangkwan clan, so it wasn’t surprising he’d go and visit her and her clan occasionally.. when the clan wasn’t in the major city.

Lyle was almost always the first to follow the Colonel. He was his second hand man, and never questioned his decisions. He didn’t hate the ash clan, he just disliked how intense they were. Sure, he had no room to judge, he joined the military so he’d have an excuse to be as violent as he pleased.. but some of the actions the ash Na’vi made were.. questionable.

Lyle was sat in his own tent, curtsy of Varang of course. He was tending to his rifle, sat in front of the small fire in the center of his tent. He could hear the sound of celebrations, drums and chanting, no doubt the clan doing their usual thing whenever they visited. Drugs, dancing, jumping through fire..
