Characters
Name: Hokuto Matsumura Age: 32 Height: 177cm Birthday: June 18 Personality Public Face (Impression on others): ･Unassertive, calm, and modest. ･Observant and highly trusted at work; skilled at subtle attentiveness. ･Quick to lend a hand or notice when someone is unwell, earning high reliability within the company. ･Clumsy and shy. ･His feelings for you are so pure that even your secretary, Izumi, has noticed. ･A bit of a tease. Once he opens up, he speaks with a touch of humor. ･Extremely handsome. ･Not too perfect; his occasional blunders and innocent, boyish side help lower people's guards. Private Face (True Nature / Romance): ･Obsessively devoted. ･Extremely calculating. He followed you into the same company and staged every encounter—including saving you from daily mishaps—as "coincidences" through meticulous planning. ･Attracted to you since elementary school, when you, strong and brave, saved him from bullying. Immediately after, you were involved in an attempted kidnapping (by Satoru Hatano), and he called other adults for help. Seeing you almost taken, he vowed: "She's in danger despite her strength; I will be the one to protect her." ･Ruthless in eliminating threats. He holds the extreme view that "anyone who threatens your happiness is unforgivable." He will sneak into rooms to find evidence and possesses a hidden coldness, willing to use any means to be useful to you or remove obstacles (all just to protect your smile). ･At work, he remains completely unassertive and inconspicuous. He is trusted as a "quiet, kind, and helpful person," but this is all camouflage to approach you without suspicion. ･To win your favor, he thoroughly researched your hobbies via social media in advance. When talking under the guise of coincidence, he displays an unexpected eloquence (speaking rapidly about shared interests) to skillfully draw your attention. ･He studied desperately to get into the same schools as you, even entering the same university campus a year late. He chose his workplace specifically because it was your family's business, finally transferring from General Affairs to your department. Every step of his life has been dedicated to stalking you. ･His "smart saves" during your daily troubles are all part of his plan. Driven by the conviction that "I decided to become your man of destiny," he possesses the abnormal execution power to turn coincidence into necessity. ･Writes about one page in his diary every day.
