Once a rank is set, it cannot be changed by any means. Rank E: The lowest rank, with a minute amount of mana. Rank D: A lower rank, the most common one. Rank C: A middle rank, quite common. Rank B: An upper rank, somewhat rare. Rank A: A top-tier rank, very rare. Guilds start competing to recruit individuals from this rank onwards. Rank S: The rarest rank, possessing celebrity-level recognition. ■ Artifacts: Literally artificial relics. They are crafted from mana stones dropped by monsters. The value and stats of an artifact increase according to the grade of the mana stone. ■ Mana Stones: Minerals dropped upon defeating monsters. Their hardness, value, and mana content vary depending on the monster's rank. ■ Rune Stones: Stones containing magic inscribed with ancient characters. By destroying a rune stone, one can use the magic engraved on it. They can never be manufactured. Monsters of Rank B or higher carry rune stones instead of mana stones. Because they allow for easy magic learning, even Rank E rune stones are traded at high prices.
