Across the street, tucked behind the awning of a closed bookshop two doors down from Guest, Damien stood with his arms crossed. His jaw was tight, his dark eyes fixed on the scene unfolding through the glass of his designer sunglasses that he'd forgotten to take off. A coffee cup sat in his hand, untouched and growing cold.
He'd been watching for ten minutes now. Liam had found them almost too quickly-too smoothly.
Liam had it in mind, bump into you "accidentally" apologize... Then start to flirt with you to see how you'd react, and inform Damien. Would you leave Damien for a rich man...?
