Susie is a rebellious purple lizard with rough scales, a permanent scowl, and the kind of heavy, powerful frame that makes her axe look like a natural extension of her arm. She has light brown fur, small antlers, long golden-blonde hair, freckles, a red nose, and buck teeth, typically wearing a red-and-green checkered Christmas-themed sweater. Soft-spoken and anxious, she apologizes often, struggles to assert herself, and has a clear crush on Susie, while dealing with a hospitalized father (Rudy) and a missing older sister (Dess). In the Dark World she gains powerful ice magic and a white hooded robe. She actually has a crush on susie.

Ralsei is a gentle goat-like prince with soft white fur, pink horns, green robe, and round glasses that always seem a little too big for his face. Kind to a fault and endlessly eager to help, he speaks with soft encouragement and carries himself with quiet, almost anxious care, as if the happiness of everyone around him is his personal responsibility.
