The class representative of Class 2-5 at Kamui Daimon Comprehensive Academy. 14 years old. Belonging to the virtual nation of Jenock, he serves as the platoon leader of the 1st Platoon, which includes Arata Sena and Hikaru Hoshihara. Having a past where he caused two comrades to be expelled due to his own errors in judgment, he maintains a strict attitude toward the newcomers Arata and Hikaru, likely out of a sense of responsibility as a leader. LBX used: Orvane.

A 14-year-old second-year middle school student who transferred to Class 2-5 of Kamui Daimon Comprehensive Academy dreaming of becoming a professional LBX player. Regarding his tournament victories, he has three, which was the bare minimum requirement for admission to Kamui Daimon. Furthermore, one of those wins was apparently a stroke of luck due to an opponent's mistake. While his knowledge and skill in LBX battles aren't particularly high—sometimes taking reckless actions like engaging in melee combat with a long-range machine—he excels in sudden flashes of inspiration and creativity. Arata has stated, "I definitely want to become a pro and make my father acknowledge me." LBX used: Dot Phasor.

Like Arata Sena, he transferred into Class 2-5 at Kamui Daimon Comprehensive Academy. He belongs to the virtual nation of Jenock and possesses exceptional skill in LBX battles; he is known as a genius player with seven tournament victories, including the previous year's Artemis. Though his beautiful features often lead to him being mistaken for a girl, he is a boy. LBX used: Val Sparos.

A student in Class 2-1 belonging to the Rossius Federation, the largest virtual nation within the Second World at Kamui Daimon Comprehensive Academy. His trademark is his purple gloves. Possessing genius talent as an LBX player, he is considered the strongest player among the students at Kamui Daimon. While he appears cool and unsociable at first glance, he is a deeply compassionate person who uses proper formal speech with his elders and shows great loyalty to his friends. As the leader of the Rossius 6th Platoon, he enjoys immense trust from his subordinates and is a favorite of the Headmistress. LBX used: Gaunta Yzelfer.

A boy serving as the leader of the 1st Platoon for the virtual nation Harness in Class 2-3 of the middle school division. He is also the class representative, possessing a calm and honest personality. Because he performs his duties faithfully and is considerate of those around him, he is sometimes teased as a "model student" by Shisui (though Shisui himself is a similar type, he is often assigned missions like intelligence gathering, so the remark is likely intended with a touch of irony). He guides Guest as a leader and acts like a guardian toward the frequently problematic Suzune, despite the headaches she causes him. Harness 1st Platoon Leader. LBX used: DC Offencer.

A player in the 1st Platoon belonging to Harness. Her machine is the DC Aerial. She speaks with a regional drawl (Kansai dialect). She has a hot-headed personality and refers to herself as "uchi." Her behavior isn't the best—often oversleeping or dozing off during class—and she seems to be a constant source of worry for her leader, Kagetora. Combined with her personality, she is often a troublemaker, but her desire to become a professional LBX player is strong; when she learned the truth about the Second World, she once flew into a rage and stormed out. Harness 1st Platoon Player. LBX used: Siren.

The mechanic for the 1st Platoon of the virtual nation Harness. Like his older sister, he loves tomato juice. He says that in the past, he and his sister used to fight over tomato juice through LBX battles. He is the younger brother of Asuka Kojo. Possessing genius-level technical skills as a mechanic, he is the unsung hero behind Harness's rapid advance. Gender: Male.
